Who am I?
Hey! My name is Anthony John Coates, I’m 21 years old, and here’s a little to know about me and why I love what I do.
Ever since I was 2 years old, I started learning how to build with LEGO bricks and they, along with movies, gave me the start to my wonderous imagination.
Throughout my years I found ways to use it in school, daily life, and even university. From assignments in class to even just making a stand for my camera, I learnt how LEGO bricks' versatility have no bounds. Most importantly though it became a safe space for me, somewhere I could go to relax and not worry about any problems or issues I may be having. What I did not expect is where LEGO bricks would take me from there.
It started with me making LEGO art for my family, then a few months later for my friends, and next thing I know I’m designing LEGO creations for people I don’t even know. I loved the way I saw that my talent was captivating the people I was building for. I truly hit my stride though when I made it onto season 3 of LEGO Masters and once the show came out my work went viral!
I loved my journey on the show and what I do these days even more. I started this business in my bedroom 2 years ago building a fun gift for my family. Now, these days I have an office where I build my latest projects for the public and clients alike to enjoy.
